Pressure Points
The Book of James
Pressure Points are points in the body that are thought to be extra sensitive and can be used to relieve pain, stress and other symptoms. James, the half-brother of Jesus, wrote to Jewish Christians in the first century who faced intense pressure. They had been dispersed because of persecution, and they face increasing pressure to let faith live only in their heads instead of being evident in their lives. James calls these first believers to find pressure points that would lead them into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Pressure is still a part of life today, James will help us find those pressure points in life.

Meet Pastor Bo
Pastor Bo felt the call to ministry late in life. He worked as a salesperson for eight years before answering God’s call into the ministry at the age of 30. It took him several years before he responded to God’s call on his life. This calling has led him to serve in several small, medium, and large churches in North Alabama. His goal in ministry is to connect with people in a meaningful way by coming alongside them on this journey we call life. He has been married to his wife Kris for 37 years this summer. They have two grown children. Pastor Bo enjoys the outdoors, whether it be hunting deer or fishing, the outdoors gives him a place of rest and relaxation.
